Copy Alloy Information
Alloy information from various sources can be copied to new jobs and job lines using different functions.
Job Alloy Quotations
Job-specific quotations can be copied to new jobs when the Copy Job function is run from the Construction Project line or Job Card based on the Job Alloy Quotations setting in the Copy Job request page:
- If the toggle is turned on, the Job-specific quotations are copied.
- If the toggle is turned off, the Job-specific quotations are not copied.
Additionally, Job Alloy Quotations are copied to PaC jobs created using the Create PaC Job action.
Alloy Surcharge Lines
Alloy Surcharges Lines are copied together with a job line using the Copy from, Copy to, and Paste from functions and when copying the entire job using the Copy Job function.

Copying and Recalculating Costs
When Alloy Surcharge Lines are copied to a new job using the Copy Job function or to a new line(s) using the Copy from function, you will need to manually run the Calculate Alloy Surcharges function to recalculate the alloy surcharges.
When Alloy Surcharge Lines are copied to a new line(s) using the Copy from function, you can recalculate the Unit Cost of the job line based on the setting in the Recalculate costs and prices field:
- If the toggle is turned on, the job line is recalculated with the copied alloy surcharges.
- If the toggle is turned off, the alloy surcharges are copied without recalculating the job line.
