Logistics Tours
A tour is used to optimize the work in the warehouse by summarizing the shipment preparation based on certain criteria. This criteria can be defined on the Tour card itself.
The tour card consists of two parts: header and lines. On the card, only the header data is editable.
The tour card can be opened directly from menu or from the Logistics tour list page. On the tour list page it is possible to choose the create new tour as well.
The tour card header contains information about the shipping agent, the date of shipment and the type of shipment.
The tour number is assigned automatically based on the No. series selected at the tour creation.
The Tour type can be inbound or outbound, during creation it is inbound by default and must be changed manually (in case of outbound tours).
The status is new when creating and when it is finalized, it can be released. In this case, it is not possible to change data in the header and line fields, and cannot add new line.
The tour date defines when it has to be completed.
The tour card lines are updated from the warehouse request line table and cannot be changed manually, it is only possible to delete lines.
Tour Lines data is grouped according to Destination No. and Ship-to code. User can see one main line per Destination No. and Ship-to Code combination, and below the detailed information lines.
Main lines' type is group, and detail lines' type is line.
Process
The Outbound warehouse request line page function Assign Tour name allows us to create tour lines from Outbound warehouse request lines.
The Shipping agent information is synhronised between the request line and the Tour. It is not possible to assign a Tour to a line that has different shipping agent information.
When user selects the Assign Tour function, the Tour list opens, and user can select a Tour. The list contains only tours with outbound type and with status New.
After selecting the Tour number, it is added to the warehouse request line table in Tour field and the tour card can be opened.
If the marked line has Tour No. already, user should get error message:
The line is already assigned to the Tour no.
Deletion of Tours
When a tour is not actual anymore it is possible to delete it depending on certain conditions:
- Status of the tour should not be Released or Finished
- If the tour has lines it depends on the parameter "Deletion of Tours with Lines" within COSMO Logistics Setup
- When this parameter is activated the tour can be deleted and for all the source lines the tour will be removed (giving a warning first)
- When this parameter is de-activated the tour can only be deleted if the assigned tour lines will be deleted first. After no tour lines are attached to the tour, the header can be deleted.

The CCS LOG Tour Header (5292205) table and the CCS LOG Tour List (5292208, List) page have one filter:
Status (5) field is Finished.
