SharePoint App Authentication and DMS Credentials
This section describes the SharePoint app authentication setup necessary for both SharePoint Online servers and On-Premises (OnPrem) servers as well as the setup for DMS Credentials.
Based on the used Microsoft Business Central environment, the following communications with SharePoint servers are possible:
In SaaS environments, the COSMO Document Management System app can only communicate with SharePoint online server.
In On-Premise environments, the COSMO Document Management System app can communicate with SharePoint online server as well as with SharePoint on-premise server. An on-premise-to-on-premise setup can only be provided either (a) via special payments (required by Microsoft), or (b) via a proxy solution, which must be purchased separately as an additional asset.
