EDI Initialization

With the help of the automatic initialization, some settings are made which are understood as presettings, such as the creation and storage of required number series and the creation of rights groups and user roles for using COSMO EDI. You can later adjust these settings to your own needs.

Furthermore, entries are automatically created in the tables, which you absolutely need for working with COSMO EDI. This includes, for example, the creation of the transaction types and the EDI Journals which are later used to process the incoming and outgoing data.

The EDI Initialization page is accessed using the Tell Me feature. Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter EDI Initialization, and then choose the related link.

Start the batch job to initialize the basic setup of COSMO EDI. Existing data will not be replaced, solely extended.
