Rental with Warehouse Management
Renting items that require warehouse management features (shipments, picks, receipts, put-aways, etc.) can be handled in the Rental Contracts with Transfer Orders. Depending on what is included in the rental, the processes differ:
- Rental Contracts with rental items that require warehousing capabilities
- Rental Contracts with rental items and sales items that require warehousing capabilities
In either situation, the standard warehouse management functionalities are available but when a rental requires sales items, additional steps are needed to ensure the proper transfer of information between the rental documents and the warehouse documents.
