EFB Calculation
EFB is a German calculation document that sometimes must be delivered with the sales quote document. It includes information about the calculation and the surcharges.
Surcharges to be included in the EFB Calculation are first defined in the EFB Surcharges page (see EFB Surcharges).
Note
EFB supports the following five cost types: Wage, Material, Ext. Service, Equipment, and Other. The "Other 2" cost type is handled like "Other" and are displayed together in the "Other" cost type area.

The other FastTabs are described in Add Values to EFB Calculation.
Copy Default EFB Surcharges
When the EFB Calculation is created, the default surcharges are entered in the Surcharges for Single Costs of Part Efforts FastTab.
On the Related menu, choose the Default EFB Charges action to show the default surcharges; no changes can be made in this view.
With the separation of EFB Surcharges, changes can be made to the surcharges in the EFB Calculation which do not affect the default surcharges.
On the Home menu, choose the Copy Default EFB Surcharges action to overwrite changes made to the surcharges in the EFB Calculation with the default surcharges.
Choose the Yes button to overwrite the job-specific EFB surcharges with the default surcharges, or the No button to stop the process.
Add Values to EFB Calculation
In the Values for Unit Prices Wage FastTab, enter a number in the Charging Wage field to specify the Sales Price per hour for the EFB Report.
Note
This value can be entered directly in the Charging Wage field on the Determination of the Quote Total FastTab as well.
Values in this FastTab, the Determination of the Quote Total FastTab, the Composition of Apportionment Totals FastTab, and the Construction Overhead Costs FastTab are calculated and updated.
The values in the Composition of Apportionment Totals FastTab are calculated based on the values in the Surcharges for Single Costs of Part Efforts FastTab and the Determination of the Quote Total FastTab.
In the Construction Overhead Costs FastTab, it is possible to allocate the construction overhead costs. For example, the COH Total field will display the complete construction overhead available, such as 10,000 EUR. You can then allocate 2000 to Wage Costs, 1000 to Salary Costs, and 5000 to Transport Costs. The COH to be allocated field will display the remaining amount to be allocated, of 2000 EUR.
Note
The fields on this FastTab are used in Form Sheet 222, which can be set up as a custom report in COSMO Project Construction.
In the Values for Unit Price Wage FastTab, enter a number to specify these costs for the EFB Report in the Non Wage Labour Costs field.
The Average Wage is reduced by the amount entered in the Non Wage Labour Cost field.
In the Additional Wage Costs % field, enter a number to specify these costs for the EFB Report.
The Average Wage and Additional Wage Costs fields are recalculated.
Once all values are entered, choose the Update EFB Calculation action on the Home menu to make sure all values are up to date. This function must be run if the EFB surcharges are changed in order to update all values.
On the Reports menu, choose the Form Sheet 221 action to generate the report to send with the Sales Quote. In the EFB Form 221 report request page, choose the Print button to print the report or the Preview button to view the report.
Note
The Form Sheet 222 and Form Sheet 223 actions print the respective report if a custom report has been created (for EFB 222) or the available report (for EFB 223) are defined for Usage = EFB 222 and EFB 223, respectively, in the Project Construction Report Selection page.
