Measurement Page
Measurements are recorded in the Measurement page, accessed using Tell Me. Choose the 
icon, enter Measurements, and then choose the related link. Choose the New action to create a new measurement or choose the Edit action on the Manage menu to review an existing measurement.
Note
Measurement Documents can also be created directly from a Sales Order, Job Card, Measurement Overview, and Measurement Interface.
General FastTab
The fields on the General FastTab are described in the following table.

| No. | Unique identifier for the Measurement. |
| Status | Indicates the current status of the Measurement. The options are: - Recorded: The Measurement is in progress and can be edited. - Registered: The Measurement has been registered and cannot be edited. |
| Document Date | Specifies the date the Measurement was created. |
| Construction Project No. | Specifies the construction project to which the Measurement applies. |
| BoQ Job No. | Indicates the number of the BoQ Job. |
| Description | Displays the description of the selected Job No. |
| Process Description | Displays the process description of the selected Job No. |
| Person Responsible | Specifies the user who is responsible for the Measurement; defaults from the Job if one exists. |
| Vendor No. | Specifies the vendor number assigned to the Measurement. |
| Vendor Name | Specifies the vendor name assigned to the Measurement. |
| Measurement Date | Specifies the date of the Measurement. |
| Measurement Page No. | Specifies the page number of the Measurement. Upon creation of the Measurement document, this field is automatically populated with the next number in the sequence, incremented by 1. For example, if the previous number was 001, the number in the new measurement will be 002. This field is also automatically populated with the number designated in the Measurement Page Starting No. of the job (see Job Structure Type = Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Bill of Quantities FastTab). |
| Measurement Location | Specifies the location of the Measurement. |
| User ID | Indicates the user who created the Measurement. |
| Transfer Status / Transfer Date / Transferred By | Indicates the transfer information of a measurement from Placing Unit job to a BoQ job. For more information, see Transfer Measurement Document. |
| Amount (LCY) | Displays the total amount (in local currency) of the Measurement Lines. Choose the value to open the Measurement Lines page, which shows all lines for the measurement. |
Lines FastTab
The fields in the Lines FastTab are described in the following table.

| Measurement Date | Specifies the date of the Measurement line; can be defaulted from the General FastTab. |
| Measurement Page No. | Specifies the page number of the Measurement line. This field is defaulted from the General FastTab. |
| BoQ Job No. | Specifies the job to which the Measurement line applies. This field is defaulted from the General FastTab. |
| BoQ Position No. | Specifies the BoQ Position to which the Measurement is recorded. Choose the ellipsis button to open the BoQ Position List to select single or multiple BoQ positions to include in the measurement document. |
| BoQ Unit of Measure Code | Indicates the unit of measure of the BoQ Position. |
| BoQ Description | Indicates the description of the BoQ Position. |
| Line Tag | Indicates the type of line, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. The options are: - <Blank>: formula line - * Comment: comment line For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Factor | Specifies the factor to which the formula is multiplied, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Formula No. | Specifies the code of the formula that is used to calculate the quantity, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. - Formula number 91 is supported as a free formula (allowed arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and mathematical operations: parentheses, exponents/roots) with multiple calculations. - Formula number 00 is supported as well but uses a formula editor (allowed arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with a limit of five calculations. For new lines, the code for formula number 91 is entered automatically. If Line Tag = Comment, this value is cleared. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Formula | Specifies the formula to calculate the quantity, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. The formula must end with a "=" sign; one is added automatically if it is missing. If the Line Tag = * Comment, then the comment is entered here. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| BoQ Quantity | Indicates the quantity of the BoQ Position. |
| Quantity | Specifies the quantity to be measured. The Formula field must be empty to manually change the Quantity; otherwise, use the Formula field. |
| Cum. Quantity | Specifies the cumulative quantity to be measured. |
| Cum. Registered Quantity | Displays the registered measurement quantity. |
| Unit Price | Displays the Unit Price of the BoQ Position for BoQ jobs and the Unit Cost of the BoQ Position for Placing Unit jobs. |
| Line Amount | Displays the calculated Line Amount of the Measurement line. |
| Explanation | Explains the used formula, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Measurement Location | Specifies the location of the Measurement line; can be defaulted from the General FastTab. |
| Unique No. | Indicates the unique identifier of the BoQ Position. |
| Line Discount % | Displays the Line Discount % of the BoQ Position based on Sales Order or BoQ Position, depending on the setting in the Jobs Setup page. |
| Line Discount Amount | Displays the calculated Line Discount Amount of the Measurement line. |
| Process Description | Displays the process description of the selected Job No. |
| Result | Displays the result of the formula, relating to the REB 23.003 formula calculation. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Address | Specifies a unique identifier for the measurement line which is necessary for the Measurement Interface and cross-line calculations. NOTE: Cross-line calculations are currently not supported. Used with the REB 23.003 formula calculation. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Execution Code | Indicates the Execution Unit to which new measurement entries are assigned automatically if there is a one-to-one relationship. |
Actions on Lines FastTab
The actions in the menus on the Lines FastTab are described in the following table.

| Line | Position Card | Opens the Position Card page for the selected Measurement line. |
| Functions | Calculate Formula | Calculates the quantity and result of the selected measurement line with a formula. Used with the REB 23.003 formula calculation and is run automatically after you enter a calculation in the Formula field and then leave the field. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
Home Menu
The actions on the Home menu are described in the following table.

| Create next Page No. | Creates a new measurement document and automatically increases the Measurement page number. |
| Register | Changes the measurement status from Recorded to Registered. |
| Calculate all formulas | Calculates the quantity and result of each measurement line with a formula. Used with the REB 23.003 formula calculation and is run automatically after you run the Assume BoQ Quantity function. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
Report Menu
The action on the Report menu is described in the following table.

Actions Menu
The actions on the Actions menu are described in the following table.

| Functions | Assume BoQ Quantity | Transfers the BoQ Quantity to the Quantity field and remaining quantity to the Formula in the measurement lines set with Formula No. = 91. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |
| Reset Quantity | Clears the Quantity field in the measurement lines. | |
| Get BoQ Positions | Creates measurement lines based on the complete BoQ. | |
| Delete Zero Quantity Lines | Deletes all measurement lines that have an empty Quantity field. | |
| Export | Exports the measurement according to REB 23.003 / DA11 / X31 specification. For more information, see REB 23.003 Processing. |

The action on the Related menu is described in the following table.
