Project Types Setup
In addition to the standard COSMO Project fields in the Project Types Setup, three fields are used to define how projects are created for COSMO Project Construction.

| Default Structure Type | Indicates the Structure Type that will be defaulted to the Project Card each time a Project is created with this Project Type. The options are: - Bill of Quantities: used for project calculations and invoicing. - Process and Controlling: used for planning and project costing. - BoQ and PaC: used for simple, small specifications that can be processed in one project. - Placing Unit: used for subcontractor calculating and processing. |
| Default PaC Project Type | Indicates the default PaC Project Type to be used when creating a PaC Project from a Bill of Quantities project. This Project Type is used when a new PaC Project is created by using the Create PaC Project function from BoQ Project. If this field is empty, the value entered in the PaC Default Project Type field in the Projects Setup page is used. |
| Default Process Description | Indicates the Process Description that will be defaulted to the Project Card each time a Project is created with this Project Type. This field determines how quantities in Measurements will be processed for the project. The options are: - Free Measurement: Quantities are entered in the Measurement lines without further calculation. - REB 23.003: Quantities are calculated with formulas 91 and 00 of the REB-VB 23.003 (see REB 23.003 Processing). |
| Default Protect BoQ | Specifies the default setting of the Protect Bill of Quantities field in the Project Card. Determines if it is possible to change the BoQ Position Type, Description, Quantity, or Unit of Measure Code fields in the BoQ Budget Calculation lines or the text in the BoQ Project Texts page. This value defaults to the projects but can be changed. |
| Default BoQ Price Type | Specifies the default BoQ Price Type that will be used when the BoQ Position Type field is set to Optional in the Project Budget Calculation line. The options are Regular and Without Total. This value defaults to the projects but can be changed. |
