Sales Documents
COSMO Project Manufacturing offers integration of functionality between the job, budget and sales processes. In this way, efficiency and accuracy are increased.
Sales Quotes and Sales Orders can be created for a job based on a job position. In this section, Sales Quotes and Sales Orders are created in the Job Budget Calculation page. Alternatively, sales documents can be created in the Job Budget Sales page.
Note
The Opportunities and Interaction functionalities from standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Sales & Marketing are integrated in the sales cycle of COSMO Project Manufacturing.
From an Opportunity, a job can be created by choosing the Assign Job action. Once ready for sales processing, a Sales Quote or Sales Order can be created based on a job position.
The Job No. in the Interactions Log Entries makes is possible to log activities related to a Job and Main Job. If a new contact interaction is created by choosing the Create Interaction action on the Job Contacts page, the Job No. is defaulted to the Create Interaction Wizard. In any other case, the Job No. can be assigned manually.
Refer to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Help for more information about Opportunities and Interactions.
